The ‘usability’ of website is what will determine the success or failure of your web-site, and not the visual design alone; although it can have a major impact, regardless whether it’s stunning or not. It’s your visitors—the people clicking the mouse in and out of your design—who ultimately decides everything you need to know about its effectiveness.

Be it your design or approach, and how well you have created and implemented a successful domain site design. More often than not, these factors are not really known until the your web site has been up and running for a while with the use of analytic services that will help you determine where your focus for further development or modifications need to be addressed. This includes such principles as heuristics, logic and approaches to either need to be established or modified to create a truly effective design.

Regardless of how you do it, the approach should lead to a more usable design that incorporates simplicity, while at the same time presents the ‘visitor’ with what can ultimately be perceived  a website full of ‘useful’ information, sports great interactive interfaces, and that they determine to be ‘highly usable.’

FIVE STEP PROJECT PLAN
THE INITIAL CONCEPT

Exceptional design begins by understanding your requirements. We ask questions so as to understand your image, goals, audience, project parameters and desired outcomes. Here, is where we will define the design problems and cultivate strategies to solve them effectively and memorably.

We produce wire-frames that map the User Experience in order to address and quash any problems that could disrupt development. Basically, ensuring what you wanted and what you get are both synchronized before we begin.

THE OVERALL DESIGN

After a concept is approved, we begin to engage the creativity side of our brain, and focus on developing the design routes. Basically, the core choices about layout, type size and color palettes are tested within a number of ideas to identify what works best in order to communicate your goals.

This phase is a collaborative process that will involve your input in order to agree on a final design for your website. Especially when on considers color, layout, backgrounds, fonts, graphics, links (and link maintenance), blogs, email, etc.

THE CONSTRUCTION

Once the design is completed and signed off by the client (agreed to) it goes into development.

It is here where a working system is built that closely mimics the final design; built with clean, semantic code that validates best-practices of code according to the W3C Organization (a membership community of developers who developed standard practices.

The site is then deployed into a staging environment where we begin rigorous testing its functionality and iron out any design flaws or bugs before handing the system to you for a ‘user test.

THE DEPLOYMENT

Your system will require content. In order to get the content required, we will work with you to provide what is needed to ensure you are experienced when it comes to using and populating your new website design.

Once we have enough sample data you have provided, we will deploy the website into your production hosting server where a final pre-launch check will be conducted.

After it has been launched, World Nexus Publications will be on hand to troubleshoot any queries you may have with regards to your site and its performance.

THE GO-LIVE

Once your website is completely operational we’d like to think our relationship with you will continue. As maintenance of updates and upgrades is critical. We have a number of services we provide; from monthly performance reports and Search Engine Optimization to Mobile System Enhancements and E-Commerce functionality to Smart Devices that will help you as your content grows; including functionality, backup processes, and troubleshooting as your site grows and expands.

Tell us what you require, and well put together a plan specifically tailored for you.

Google Analytics

Analytics from Google is only one of the many tools we use to study the performance of your website – and our favorite – because it allows multiple views of valuable information about your website; be page speed, number of views, who visited, how long they stayed, etc. It helps us to monitor how well SEO (search engine optimization) is performing and let’s us know where improvements need to be made.

All websites designed by World Nexus Publications will come installed with Google Analytic’s already configured for you. However, there are other key services we will present you, like user tracking that should be considered. We do this so our clients are able to determine just who is visiting their site; where they are in the world; and what pages they are looking at, and how long they stated. But as we said, there’s a heck of a lot more to consider; especially if your business requirements are considering e-commerce.

SEO METHODOLOGY

An S.E.O. METHODOLOGY, is nothing more than an acronym that simply means Search Engine Optimization, it’s the processes that happen behind the scenes of your website design that adheres to strict Web Standards when it comes to a well structured HTML, PHP and CSS design. In order to make our websites easier for search engines like Google to index, we do employ SEO as a standard. But that’s not all a really good SEO methodology can do, as search engines today notice everything; from changes made to your advertising and posts, to issues behind the loading processes and third-party services.

SEO is critical to knowing immediately what consequently affects your search rankings when people conduct searches on the World Wide Web; as well as a means to improve them.By our implementing an effective SEO policy for you, we believe we both can grow exponentially, and dynamically, while we maintain a close collaborative effort with you, and thereby maintain high standards by helping our clients better concentrate on their business, and not the technical issues of your web content.
